This villa is an ancient villa built around 700 years ago by the famous Tinelli’s Family. In 1896 the De Angeli-Frua Family bought it and lived in it until the Second World War.

After being restored in 1997, it  became a Town Hall and site of the Public Library.

During his visit in 1862, Giuseppe Garibaldi, the artificer of the Italian Union, addressed his speech to the citizens from the balcony of the Villa Frua. From the same balcony nowadays you can admire the incomparable landscape on Lake Maggiore, the Rosa Mountain and the Piedmont shores.
